  • Center for the Study of White American Culture
    The Center was created in 1995 to address the lack of information and discussion of the role of white people and white culture in American society. Explicitly a multiracial organization, the Center predicates its work on the founding belief that a complete examination of white American culture must include the perspectives of both insiders and outsiders to that culture.

  • Commission for Racial Equality
    The CRE is a publicly funded, non-governmental body set up under the Race Relations Act 1976 (applies in England, Wales, and Scotland) to tackle racial discrimination and promote racial equality. It works in both the public and private sectors to encourage fair treatment and to promote equal opportunities for everyone. The CRE has three main duties: to work towards the elimination of racial discrimination and promote equality of opportunity; to encourage good relations between people from different racial backgrounds; and to monitor the way the Race Relations Act is working and recommend ways in which it can be improved.
